As temperatures plunge across the region, the Grove family of Somerville has announced the birth of sixteen healthy calves this week. Despite freezing conditions and ongoing political chill from Washington, America’s farmers continue their work seven days a week.
“We have babies!” might be the headline of the week — or perhaps, “Spring Has Come Early.” Either way, the heartland keeps moving forward.
